What Happens After Approval
Frequently Asked Questions
We handle all preceptor forms, affiliation agreements (if required), and preceptor site information needed for your school's approval process. If your school needs any additional documents for your NP clinical rotation, please inform your Preceptor Matching Specialist or Student Coordinator in advance to avoid delays.
Yes. After your paperwork is approved, we help coordinate your nurse practitioner clinical rotation schedule with your preceptor. And if anything changes later, like your availability or theirs, your Student Coordinator will be there to help you adjust and keep everything on track.
If your school says an affiliation agreement isn't required, it usually means one is already active with the preceptor or site. In that case, we simply send the necessary preceptor and site details directly to your school for approval.
That said, in nearly all cases, schools do require an active affiliation agreement—especially for legal and liability reasons. So if it's the first time your school is working with a specific NP preceptor or site, they will almost always request to initiate one.
Yes. In most cases, the paperwork is already prepared—we're just waiting on the nurse practitioner preceptor's e-signature. Your Student Coordinator stays on top of these situations, following up consistently via email, phone, and text to make sure everything gets finalized quickly and without delays.
We help prevent long wait times, missing signatures, incomplete forms, and documents filled out incorrectly. Our team ensures everything is prepared properly before you download it—so you avoid the usual back-and-forth with clinics and preceptors that can delay your nurse practitioner clinical placement.
We begin managing your clinical rotation paperwork as soon as your placement is secured and your initial deposit is submitted.
Once your school gives the green light, we connect you directly with your NP preceptor so you can schedule your start date. Your Student Coordinator will continue to guide and support you every step of the way—and if anything unexpected comes up, we're here to help you navigate it quickly.
While we can't guarantee your school's processing speed, we minimize delays by managing signatures, tracking documents, and maintaining constant communication with all parties involved. Since we've supported students in over 230 NP programs, we typically know exactly the information needed in all the necessary paperwork to streamline university approval and minimize unnecessary delays for your nurse practitioner clinical rotations.
